Welcome to Chess Tournament Manager

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the Chess Tournament Manager application, developed by Game Wings Support.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Chess Tournament Manager application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the application.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the application only for its intended purpose: organizing, managing, and tracking chess tournaments. You must not use the application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract the source code of the application.

3. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The application, including its original content, features, functionality, and design, is owned by Game Wings Support and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. The app itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, belong to the developer. You may not extract or attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you also shouldn't try to translate the app into other languages or make derivative versions.

4. User Data and Backups

All data generated by the application (including but not limited to player lists, pairings, and results) is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data using the provided export features. Game Wings Support is not responsible for any loss of data.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Game Wings Support, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the application.

Chess Tournament Manager is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to ensure that pairings, standings, and tournament data are accurately calculated, we do not warrant the absolute accuracy or reliability of the algorithms (e.g., Round Robin, Knockout). We shall not be held liable for any disputes, damages, or losses (financial or otherwise) arising from tournament results, data corruption, or app crashes. It is the user's responsibility to independently verify tournament results if used for official or professional rated events.

6. Advertisements and Features

Chess Tournament Manager is provided free of charge and is supported by in-app advertisements. By using the app, you agree that we may place such advertising and promotions on the Service. The manner, mode, and extent of such advertising and promotions are subject to change without specific notice to you. We are not responsible for the content, products, or services offered by third-party advertisers.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the application immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
